Are you an experienced plumber looking for a change of pace without stepping away from the trade? Do you want to put your practical knowledge to good use in a college environment, supporting the next generation of plumbers and keeping a well‑equipped workshop running at its best? If so, we would love to hear from you.
As our Plumbing Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and organisation of the Plumbing workshops at our Southgate campus. You will prepare workshops for practical sessions, provide hands‑on technical support to lecturers and learners, carry out demonstrations modelling correct techniques and safe working practices, and maintain the tools, equipment and training rigs that make high‑quality practical delivery possible.
You will be joining our Construction and Building Services team at an exciting moment, as we develop a new construction centre at Southgate. It is a practical, varied role in a collegial environment where your trade knowledge is genuinely valued and where you will make a visible contribution to learner success every day.
