Here to Help Team Member (Fixed-term or Casual positions available)
To ensure that all supporters, both home and away, who visit the Accu Stadium on Huddersfield Town home match days have a positive experience.
Purpose of the Role
The post holder will provide a friendly welcome and give information to visitors, assisting with a range of enquiries including directions, facilities, and tickets, and also assisting with any adjustments in accordance with individual needs.
Key Performance Indicators
- Outstanding customer service evidenced by customer feedback and «mystery shopper» reports as part of the Family Excellence programme.
- The needs of all supporters are consistently met, to ensure the quality of their experience is wholly positive, regardless of their status as a home or away supporter, and regardless of any protected characteristic as defined in the Equality Act 2010.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- To create a welcoming and friendly match day experience for both home and away supporters.
- To be proactive and positive in all communications with supporters.
- To assist with on‑pitch activities including Guard of Honour.
- Respect others and behave in an inclusive and non‑discriminatory manner, taking account of all protected characteristics as specified in the Equality Act 2010.
Compensation and Working Hours
£12.71 per hour. Hours of work for match days: 3:00pm kick‑off: 12:00pm – 3:15pm (3 hours 15 minutes). 7:45pm kick‑off: 5:30pm – 8:00pm (2 hours 30 minutes).

Applicants must disclose all previous convictions, including spent convictions, in accordance with the associated legislation. The post holder will also be required to undertake Safeguarding Training, in agreement with the Senior Safeguarding Manager.
