Job Description:

Are you passionate about helping children thrive to reach their full potential? Do you have the skills and experience to support pupils with their learning and wellbeing? We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team across Schools in Sutton.

Role

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting activities to meet diverse needs.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, inclusion, and personal development.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote progress and wellbeing.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of supporting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to helping children succeed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning) are desirable.
