We are seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support students with learning needs, so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, experience a sense of achievement, and develop independence in learning and all other aspects of school life.
This is a part-time, term time only post, working 26 hours a week, 4 days per week, 39 weeks per year.

Charnwood College is an oversubscribed 11 to 18 school, which has seen significant improvements over the last five years. The most recent Ofsted inspection rated the school as Good in all areas stating that ‘Pupils at Charnwood College experience a culture of respect and positivity’ and that ‘Leaders have established an inclusive and calm environment in which pupils can learn’. Staff and students follow ‘The Charnwood Way’, to create a positive, learning culture in which all students are immersed. The spacious, well-maintained site offers excellent facilities over 40 acres. We are looking for a caring, committed, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping children learn, thrive, and reach their full potential. You’ll work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom, provide targeted help for individual pupils or small groups, and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
