HGV Class 1 Driver Nights – Temp to Perm

Job Summary

HGV Class 1 Night drivers required for temp‑to‑perm positions based in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.

Pay

• Days (04:00 – 17:59): £17.45 per hour
• Nights (18:00 – 03:59): £18.45 per hour
• 6th Shift Days: £26.18 per hour
• 6th Shift Nights: £27.68 per hour
• 45‑minute break deduction; 6th shift paid at time and a half.

Shift Patterns

• 17:00 Sun–Thurs x 2
• 19:00 Tue–Sat x 2
• 21:00 Mon–Fri x 2
• 22:00 Sun–Thurs x 2
• 22:00 Mon–Fri x 2

Work Description

Depot‑to‑depot trunking. No handballing involved. Clean, straightforward driving role with minimal physical work.

Ideal Candidate

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 2 years experience.
• Reliable and professional drivers.
• Good timekeeping and safety focus.
• No more than 6 points.
• Digital card and DCPC compliance.
