Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring timely and high-quality dishes.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Monitor and manage stock levels within your section, placing orders as needed to maintain inventory.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and well‑organised.
- Contribute to menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to our culinary offerings.
- Maintain excellent communication with front‑of‑house staff to ensure seamless service.
What you Need
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high‑pressure, fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- A genuine passion for food and a keen eye for detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a small team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stock levels and place orders efficiently.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
