The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of a reputable client based in the NP19 area. This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers seeking reliable, ongoing weekday work with a consistent 06:00 AM or 15.00 start time. You’ll be working with a well-established company that values professionalism, road safety, and driver wellbeing. If you’re looking for stability, regular hours, and excellent pay, this role is ideal for you.

Job Details

• Start time: 06.00am or 15.00 Monday to Friday
• Excellent hourly rate of £15.00
• Ongoing, long-term work
• Based in NP19

Requirements

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 2 years of recent Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulations

Duties

• Trunking or local deliveries
• Safe and timely transportation of goods
• Completing relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
• Complying with all road safety and legal requirements
