Technologist – Fresh Produce

Supplying an exciting portfolio of Fresh Produce products to the UK retail market, we are seeking a Technologist to join the business in a newly created and exciting opportunity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Senior Technical Manager and take ownership of allocated product categories to ensure raw materials / products meet all the compliance requirements of the end retail customer.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Senior Technical Manager and take ownership of allocated product categories.
• Ensure raw materials / products meet all compliance requirements of the end retail customer.
• Travel nationally and internationally to visit and audit suppliers, packhouses and farms worldwide.
• Make decisions under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Food Science / Food Technology / Agriculture Graduate with a placement year in industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Knowledge of HACCP, Auditing, Food Safety highly advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make decisions under pressure.

Location: Kent

Salary: up to £45k DOE
