About The Role

In this role, you will spend 60% of your time working hands-on with vehicles and 40% administering warranty claims. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, complex diagnostics (including EV-related work), and conduct Manufacturer-Based Services to the highest standards. This role requires a collaborative team player who can also work independently to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.

Key Responsibilities as a Diagnostic Technician

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct complex diagnostics, including EV-related work.
• Deliver Manufacturer-Based Services with high quality workmanship.
• Process and administer warranty claims accurately.Maintain records for audits and warranty claims reconciliation.
• Schedule warranty work efficiently within the workshop.
• Support colleagues with diagnostics and repair methods.
• Collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining high productivity.

The Ideal Diagnostic Technician

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow. To succeed in this role, you will need:

• NVQ/IMI Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to read and analyze complex data.
• Knowledge of multi-brand cars and vans.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
• EV diagnostic and repair authorisation is desirable.
• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
