SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95- £115 per day. Job Type: Long Term

Join us as a SEN Teaching Assistant in an SEN School. A rewarding opportunity is available for a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting secondary students with autism. The role involves working closely with verbal and non‑verbal pupils in an inclusive classroom, supporting sensory needs and communication development. Familiarity with PECS is required.

Responsibilities

• Be enthusiastic, passionate and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
• Be familiar with conditions such as autism, ADHD and physical disabilities.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and support staff.
• Establish and maintain pupil behaviour standards to create an orderly and productive environment.

Qualifications / Experience

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to be eligible for this role.
• Have proven classroom experience or training.
