About the Role
Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.
We are looking for support workers to join our small team delivering support to adults with learning disabilities, communication difficulties, personal care and complex needs.
These support workers will be part of our S.I.L.C service which delivers care 24/7 in our housing support service as well as at various hours within our outreach service, supporting adults to maintain their tenancies, health and be active members of their community.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to adults with learning disabilities and communication difficulties.
- Deliver care 24/7 in the housing support service and at outreach service hours.
- Help adults maintain their tenancies, health and community participation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in ability.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently, and under own initiative.
- Willingness to undertake training to SVQ Level 3 and other required service delivery training.
- Successful applicants must register with the PVG Scheme & SSSC.
Working Hours
Full or part‑time hours available. Flexible shift patterns, including evening and weekend work.
