Overview

A DT teacher is required to teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5, deliver engaging practical and theory lessons, manage classroom and workshop environments, and plan and mark for long‑term roles.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design Technology across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons.
• Specialisms may include Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics or Food Technology.
• Plan and mark lessons (for long‑term roles).
• Maintain a safe and effective workshop/classroom environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant UK teaching experience.
• Experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and practical teaching skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach.
