A highly regarded seafood restaurant in Padstow is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. The restaurant is known for its daily-changing small plates menu, focusing on exceptional fish and shellfish sourced fresh each day.
This is a year-round, permanent opportunity in a busy, high-quality, and professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Running and managing a designated section of the kitchen
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to specification
- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef during service
- Maintaining consistency, speed, and presentation standards
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met
- Assisting with stock control and prep across shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and service pressure
- Passion for seafood, fresh produce, and seasonal cooking
- Ability to work well within a focused, professional kitchen team
- Reliable, organised, and detail-driven approach
