Science Teacher, Ipswich, Suffolk
Full-time (Part-time considered). Start Date: September 2026
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join our successful and supportive department in Ipswich. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop curiosity and a strong understanding of the scientific world.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across the curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- A passion for inspiring young people in Science
