HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunking Shifts (Sheffield), £17–£17.50/h

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well‑known, industry‑leading client in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts

Operation runs across Monday to Sunday.

Start Times

Start times vary between 12pm – 10pm (afternoon/nights).

Pay Rate

• £17.00 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £17.50 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)

The role

• Trunking – Performing trunk runs to the hub.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C & E).
• Valid and in‑date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety‑first mindset.
