Tradewind Recruitment are working on behalf of a secondary school in the Wirral area to recruit a reliable and proactive School Caretaker. This is a full‑time, term‑time‑only position (with occasional holiday work), ideal for someone with a strong sense of responsibility, good maintenance skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities/maintenance role
- Good knowledge of basic maintenance, health & safety, and security procedures
- A practical, hands‑on approach and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility to manage a range of tasks from minor repairs to setting up school events
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Basic IT skills for logging maintenance requests or completing compliance checks
