Revised Recruitment Group are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a local school in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performing and supportive environment following completion of online registration.

Teaching Assistant Job Specification

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Assist students with their learning, providing one-to-one or small group support where required
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources in line with lesson plans
• Reinforce the school’s behaviour management policy
• Support students with additional learning needs where appropriate
• Assist with the administration of class activities, including tests and coursework
• Encourage students to stay on task and engaged during lessons
• Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and behaviour
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Adhere to all school policies, including behaviour management, health and safety, and equal opportunities

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the child barred list registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional references related to working with children
