PCV/HGV Mechanic/Technician

Salary & Benefits

£17.68 per hour, with option for weekend work and flexible scheduling.

• Typical annualised earnings of £35000+ based on hourly rate, allowances, typical hours and overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, including buses, HGVs, LGVs, and other vehicles.
• Provide depot‑based and on‑the‑road repair work to keep vehicles safe and dependable for health, employment, shopping, leisure and family trips.
• Participate in training to work with electric vehicle infrastructure and future hybrid technology.
• Maintain a safe working environment with provided protective gear.

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering background with a vehicular focus – bus, HGV/LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm, or similar.
• Experience in engineering maintenance and repair of vehicles.
• Willingness to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.
