We are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bexley, with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development across the primary age range.

The Role

• Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
• Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Providing targeted intervention support for pupils
• Working with individuals and small groups to raise attainment
• Supporting classroom behaviour and pupil engagement
• Assisting teachers with planning and classroom preparation

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive, positive, and flexible approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
