Role Overview

Experienced Maths Teacher/ECT Maths Teacher – Permanent – Starting September 2026.

This ‘Good’ secondary school in the Borough of Lambeth is seeking an experienced or newly qualified Maths teacher to join their high achieving Maths department.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct high quality maths lessons for key stages.
• Set suitable learning objectives that are relevant to the curriculum.
• Create a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Engage students using a variety of teaching methods.
• Support the school’s behaviour management procedures and provide extracurricular support when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Teaching qualification or completed PGCE/SCITT for Early Careers Teacher (ECT) of Maths.
• Experience as a Maths teacher or currently completing a PGCE/SCITT course.
• Strong commitment to high quality teaching and wellbeing of students.

Contract Details

• Permanent, Full Time Contract starting September 2026.
• Pay: MPS/UPS3 Inner London Pay Scale (TLR possible for the right candidate).
• Highly supportive induction programme for newly qualified teachers.
