Position
Chef de Partie – Leatherhead, Surrey – Full‑time (40 hours per week, Term Time Only).
Overview
This role involves preparing fresh, seasonal meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services at an independent school kitchen. You will work closely with the Head and Sous Chefs to deliver high‑quality, nutritious dishes for pupils and staff, and maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, presentation, and kitchen organisation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
- Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
- Organise kitchen workflow and maintain cooking equipment.
- Support Head and Sous Chefs in menu development and training.
- Work according to a rota of 5 days per week, 06:00–19:30, with approximately one Saturday per month.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
- Proven craft skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for fresh food.
- Experience working in a large kitchen or catering environment preferred.
