FLT / Loading Bay Operative – Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Loading Bay Operative with a valid FLT licence to join a busy and well-established team.

This role is initially offered on a 3-month temporary basis to provide cover for an employee undergoing an operation. However, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate following a performance review.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
• 30-minute lunch break daily

Pay Rate

• £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading goods within a busy loading bay
• Supporting general warehouse and logistics operations
• Ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar loading bay or warehouse role
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• VDU (Visual Display Unit) experience would be an advantage
