Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers for our customers in the UB postcode area (Uxbridge/ Hayes/ Northolt/ Greenford/ West Drayton etc)
PLEASE NOTE ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS – SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED
£20.50 to £24.50 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)Guaranteed 8 hours pay + Overtime after 9 hours

Type of shifts (depending on Company):• Multi drop deliveries in and around M25 (up to 10 drops)• Deliveries/collections of building materials, aggregates, scaffolding, plant and tool hire equipment• Shifts are mostly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
Requirements of Class 2 HIAB Drivers:• Valid UK CAT C licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)• Valid CPC, TACHO and HIAB certification• You must be over the age of 25 years – for insurance purposes• At least 1 year Class 2 HIAB driving experience (references required)• Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months• Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting• Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
All-round Duties:• Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner• Secure load onto vehicle (strapping)• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
