Dreams 4 U Nursery – EnfieldFrom birth, babies are active learners, investigating the sights, sounds and feel of the world. They explore the world with their senses as they develop. At Dreams 4U Nursery the focus is on three prime areas – communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development. Babies learn in a safe environment that encourages active exploration. Two‑year‑olds transition from complete dependence to greater independence, and two‑ to three‑year‑olds thrive in an environment that balances manageable challenges with relaxed support. By the time children are ready for reception they should have confidence, critical thinking, and an understanding of the key areas: communication and language, physical development, personal social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and design.
Responsibilities
- Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
- Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
- Providing an excellent range of activities that ensure children learn while having fun.
- Being a team player.
- Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children.
- Taking part in First Aid training as required.
- Ensuring equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in all aspects of service delivery.
- Working with teams across the nursery setting.
- Supporting children’s learning and development.
- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
- Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
- Supporting children’s self‑help needs.
- Being creative and enthusiastic.
- Following safeguarding rules and regulations and meeting the standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
Level 3 Early Years Educator – Apprenticeship Details
Your apprenticeship will last 14 months and will be supported by Lead Support Coaches and a mentor within the nursery. You will work full time in the nursery; classroom days will be based online as a remote session which you must be fully available for, while your main apprenticeship work will be carried out in a nursery local to you.
You must have Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 and have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years to be eligible.
