Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching across our Travel, Tourism & Aviation programmes at Levels 1–3.
- Bring the world of global travel to life in the classroom, inspiring students with your expertise.
- Share industry insight, ignite ambition in students and drive excellence across the department.
- Act as Course Lead and Personal Tutor, guiding learners to achieve their full potential – supporting progress, encouraging attendance and building skills and confidence.
- Contribute to curriculum development, collaboration in team meetings, planning and reviewing innovative learning activities that keep the provision fresh and exciting.
- Represent the department at open evenings, parents’ evenings and other college events, showcasing opportunities in Travel, Tourism & Aviation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Travel & Tourism and/or Aviation qualifications at minimum Level 3 or above.
- Previous FE relevant teaching experience (desirable).
- Travel & Tourism or Aviation industry experience.
- Knowledge of current developments in the FE/Adult curriculum (desirable).
- A teach qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS, references and evidence of all qualifications and awards required before commencement of employment; failure to provide may lead to offers being withdrawn.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship of work permits).
