Apply for the RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Leeds
Job Description:

This is not your average architectural vacancy. It’s a chance to join the in-house Architectural Design Team of one of the UK’s most successful developers, based just outside Leeds.

The business is a leader in designing, developing, and constructing large-scale care facilities across the UK – projects that genuinely make a difference to communities and people’s lives. With a strong pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, this is the perfect time to become part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial organisation where your ideas and expertise will be valued.

As the business continues to expand, we are seeking a technically minded Architectural Assistant with a flair for 3D visualisation and at least two years of practical experience to join the design team.

This role requires energy, creativity, and ambition – someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to see their designs evolve into real, impactful buildings. You will be working on projects from feasibility through to planning and technical drawings, collaborating closely with construction and development teams to bring concepts to life.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong technical knowledge of modern building technology, planning, and building regulations
  • Ability to produce feasibility studies, planning applications, and detailed working drawings
  • 3D visualisation skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and BIM, including modelling and BIM strategy
  • Experience with Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (not essential)
  • Experience working on accommodation‑based projects up to £8 m in value (beneficial but not essential)
  • A minimum of two years practical experience

Alongside a competitive salary you’ll enjoy a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and professional growth: a fully equipped in‑house gym, an impressive modern working environment, free on‑site parking, and genuine career progression opportunities within a thriving organisation.

Benefits

  • Salary circa £32 k – £35 k (depending on experience)
  • 23 days holidays plus statutory leave
  • Hours 8:00 – 17:00 (1 hr lunch)
  • Company pension
  • Free fully equipped gym
  • Free on‑site parking
  • Impressive working environment
  • Excellent career potential
  • Pathway to completion of Part 3

Apply today and take the next step in your architectural career.
