Hgv Class 1 Driver

Our Client is looking for professional Class 1 drivers to join its established transport team. You’ll carry out store deliveries and trunking runs using a modern fleet, supported by a safety-focused and well-organised operation.

Location: Burton Latimer

• Ongoing AM and PM shifts available
• 4 On 4 Off 06:00 starts | Shift pattern available
• Pay Rate: £17.14 – £21.88 P/hr PAYE

Key Responsibilities

• Complete store deliveries and trunking runs across the region
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to DVSA standards
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of cages and pallets
• Maintain accurate paperwork and follow Tesco’s safety procedures
• Represent Tesco professionally at all delivery points

Requirements

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong safety awareness, especially during night operations
• Reliable, professional, and confident working independently
• 6 month UK driving experience needed
