About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools in Hull and the surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate exploring a career in education, or someone with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help young learners thrive – we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
• Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assignments can vary from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, offering flexibility and variety.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).
• A positive, caring, and adaptable attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting primary education.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
