HGV Class 2 Driver

Overview

TEMP TO PERM CLASS 2 DRIVER, IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

Working for a well-established family run business, you will be responsible for making palletised deliveries to businesses throughout Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Responsibilities

• Minimal handball involved. Drivers will be required to either open a curtain and wait to be unloaded, or offload pallets using a pump trunk and tail lift.
• All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• A HGV C driving entitlement
• A full UK CPC qualification card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving a Class 2 vehicle with a curtain sider trailer would be preferred however not essential.

This is a temp to perm role

This is a Monday to Friday role with start times being between 0500 and 0700 each day. (NO WEEKENDS)

Average length shift is 10 hours per day

Pay for this role is £15.00 per hour PAYE,

You will also accrue up to 28 days holiday per year through PAYE
