About The Role
In this role, you will spend 60% of your time working hands‑on with vehicles and 40% administering warranty claims. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, complex diagnostics (including EV‑related work), and conduct Manufacturer‑Based Services to the highest standards. This role requires a collaborative team player who can also work independently to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities As a Diagnostic Technician
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Conduct complex diagnostics, including EV‑related work.
- Conduct Manufacturer‑Based Services with high‑quality workmanship.
- Process and administer warranty claims accurately.Maintain records for audits and warranty claims reconciliation.
- Schedule warranty work efficiently within the workshop.
- Support colleagues with diagnostics and repair methods.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining high productivity.
The Ideal Diagnostic Technician
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- NVQ / IMI Level 3 Qualified in Vehicle Maintenance
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to read and analyse complex data.
- Knowledge of multi‑brand cars and vans.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- EV diagnostic and repair authorisation is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
