Year 5 Teacher – Full‑time Maternity Cover (September 2026 – July 2027)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Year 5 Teacher for a full‑time maternity cover at a Primary School in Chatham. The role starts in September 2026 and runs until the end of the academic year.
The Role
- Plan and deliver the Year 5 curriculum.
- Ensure the cohort receives appropriate support and challenge.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Liaise with parents/guardians about student progress and development.
Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
- Experience as a Year 5 teacher or KS2 experience desirable but not essential.
- Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service highly desirable).
- Right to work in the UK.
