Responsibilities
- Support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 basis and/or within small groups.
- Work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions.
- Assist in adapting learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
- Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Foster a caring and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Kind, patient, and committed to supporting children with a range of needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can follow guidance but also use initiative to support learning and wellbeing.
- Experience of working with children, ideally in a school setting.
- Holds or is willing to work towards an appropriate TA qualification (e.g. Level 1 or equivalent).
