Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic individual who loves supporting children to achieve their best — especially those who need a little extra help to shine?

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 basis and/or within small groups.
  • Work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions.
  • Assist in adapting learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
  • Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
  • Foster a caring and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Kind, patient, and committed to supporting children with a range of needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Can follow guidance but also use initiative to support learning and wellbeing.
  • Experience of working with children, ideally in a school setting.
  • Holds or is willing to work towards an appropriate TA qualification (e.g. Level 1 or equivalent).
