Location: HMP Channings Wood, Greenhill Ln, Denbury, Newton Abbot, TQ12 6DW

Salary: £30,656.92 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time – 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Channings Wood, a category C Adult/Male prison.

As a Painter & Decorator you will work alongside experienced colleagues from various trades and support the maintenance team to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating, or equivalent (or significant experience in a similar role)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• Honest and reliable character, who can approach work with purpose and pace
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills
