Are you a nurturing Nursery Teacher passionate about early childhood development?
GSL Education are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teachers to work in schools across Derby (DE3).
As a Nursery Teacher, you will create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can develop key early skills in communication, social interaction, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children s early development in communication, literacy, and numeracy
- Use play-based and creative approaches to encourage learning
- Monitor and assess children s progress, maintaining accurate records
- Support children s social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Work closely with teaching assistants and staff to support learning
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working within a Nursery or EYFS setting is desirable
- Strong understanding of early years development and curriculum
- A patient, caring, and creative approach
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for early years education
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
