Role Overview
Act as an initial point of reference on the phone or in a reception area as required and use company intranet (RIC), e‑mail, and other basic correspondence where appropriate. Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme and respond to faults as discovered.
Monitor access to schemes and visitors, meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices, report incidents and anti‑social behaviour, carry out domestic tasks to a high standard and record information effectively.
Responsibilities

- Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme.
- Respond to faults as discovered.
- Monitor access to schemes and visitors.
- Meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.
- Report incidents and anti‑social behaviour.
- Carry out domestic tasks (cleaning communal areas) to a high standard.
- Effective recording of information.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
- Advise management promptly of any signs of problems or concerns about a client.
- Report repairs to maintenance contractors by using appropriate systems.
- Ensure culture and diversity issues for the clients are considered at all times, and report any forms of discrimination.
- Promote and encourage a high level of client involvement, consultation and communication.
- Understand your role in the organisation and be accountable for delivering it efficiently and client‑led.
- Adhere to the agreed corporate policies and procedures.
- Work within a multi‑disciplinary team of housing and support staff, meeting the requirements of a rota system.
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience of working in a customer‑focused environment.
- Demonstrate IT skills, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Riverside; complete relevant IT training where required.

Other Information
- Required to work a range of shifts on a 24‑hour, 7 days per week rota basis.
- Will undertake regular training to enable safe delivery of the role.
- May be required to undertake additional duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature, in consultation with your Line Manager.
