We are looking for a committed team member to join our happy and dedicated school family to provide caretaking duties at the end of the school day.
It is the responsibility of the school caretaker/cleaner to maintain and secure the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean and functional environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The role includes all in school cleaning, building maintenance and supervision of external contractors.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:– a high standard of hygiene– good organisational skills ie . ordering equipment and products– a knowledge of intruder alarms and heating systems– a good knowledge of health and safety matters– an understanding of safe working methods in accordance with COSHH assessments.– the ability to work successfully in a team with other staff
