About this Role

Senior ICT Technician

Grade and Salary: Grade 4: £28,598 – £31,022 per annum

Working pattern: 37 hours, year-round

Contract term: Permanent

The Role

This role provides technical support for hardware and software across the school, supporting both staff and students.

The role will be responsible for the administration of all ICT networks, infrastructure, computer workstations, software and peripherals. It will ensure the school is compliant with GDPR and its implications for data storage, retrieval, dissemination and removal.

The Person

The successful candidate will have experience of software and hardware installation and maintenance, and of resolving ICT problems while managing customer experience and expectations.

The postholder must be able to communicate to all stakeholders, work to deadlines, use their initiative and prioritise workload while dealing with challenging circumstances.
