History Teacher

This History Teacher position will be full time and temporary in the first instance.
Location: A ‘Good’ Secondary School & Sixth Form located in the London Borough of Bexley, SouthEast London. Their motto is “Learning Changes Lives”. The school has a specialism in Sports & Health and places importance on Physical, Mental and Social Wellbeing. Sports competitions include Football, Badminton, Handball, Netball, Basketball and Cricket. The school ranks in the top 18% of schools nationally based on past exam results. Four learning hubs form the foundation of the school: World Studies, Creative Voice, Active Science & Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Cover and teaching for KS3 to KS4 classes.
- Optional teaching of KS5 lessons if experienced.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent.
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS.
- Experience as a History Teacher in UK Secondary schools.
Pay: £140-£280 a day, depending on qualifications and experience. The higher rate applies to those with enhanced experience, training or qualification. All daily/hourly rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%.
