Position: Liaison and Diversion Apprentice Keyworker
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £24,500 per annum pro rata
Hours: 28 hours per week (9am – 5pm, 4 days per week)
Holidays: 25 days per annum plus statutory
Pension: Auto-enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking assessments of client needs and working with clients to develop, implement, and review gender-responsive support plans.
- Case managing and keyworking assigned clients, providing practical and emotional support.
- Building close working relationships with other statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure effective collaborative multi-agency working.
- Attending Family and/or Criminal court with clients, whether as offenders or victims.
- Facilitating group interventions.
- Successfully complete the Adult Care Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Requirements
- Lived experience of the criminal justice system.
- A good level of general education, including English and Maths.
- Awareness of trauma-informed approaches to working with women.
- Knowledge of a range of relevant local services and women’s entitlements, and how to signpost clients to appropriate services.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time, and act on own initiative.
- Experience of adhering to organisational policies, particularly with regard to child and adult safeguarding.
- Ability to communicate with, develop, and maintain constructive working relationships with a wide range of people using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Lived experience of having been through the criminal justice system, and of mental health, or other associated vulnerabilities is essential, and this should be declared on the application form.
