Our OFSTED‑rated ‘Good’ school is looking for a highly skilled HLTA to provide cover across KS1 and KS2, both planned and unplanned. The role requires knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curricula and a good understanding of the grammar and mathematics taught at these levels. Hours will be dedicated to each role with flexibility to meet the ever‑changing needs of the school.
Qualifications
- Outstanding practitioner with proven HLTA experience.
- Demonstrated good listening and questioning skills.
- Ability to challenge and support pupils’ learning.
- Commitment to active learning.
- Use of initiative and ability to take on others’ ideas.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing school day.
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Knowledge of KS2 curriculum and end‑of‑key‑stage expectations.
