HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Overview

HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver required for immediate starts in Highbridge.

Client specializes in logistic distribution of refrigerated and ambient goods across the UK. The client in Highbridge is a large Southwest-based partner known for positive feedback from drivers.

Responsibilities

• Trunking to RDCs and stores.
• No handball involved; box trailer deliveries.
• Operate modern, well-looked-after trucks.
• Use the app on all deliveries.

Requirements

• Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving Licence.
• 6 months experience is essential for this role.
• Valid CPC Card.
• Valid Digital Card.
• Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, or DD codes).
• Start times can vary; candidates should be able to start between 04:00 and 10:00.
• Shifts can be long but, in keeping with tachograph law, up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.

Pay and Working Pattern

• Days: Monday to Friday £16.50 per hour PAYE ONLY.
• Weekends: £20.00 per hour PAYE ONLY.
• £25 for each night out.
• Hourly pay includes holiday pay accrual: £1.99 per hour worked banked for annual leave.
