Job Summary

We are currently on the lookout for a Diagnostic Technician to join our established team at Snows Peugeot, Southampton.
Your day
As a Diagnostic Technician, you will perform a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner, aiming to meet customer requirements and maximize workshop utilisation and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing of vehicles in accordance with brand technical standards.
- Undertake air‑conditioning system servicing and repairs.
- Work in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
- Ensure that the working environment is kept clean and devoid of any practices that may be hazardous.
- Diagnose and undertake general repairs to vehicles, including MOT repairs.
- Perform diagnostic investigations into vehicle electrical system faults, providing reports on faults found.
- Carry out welding repairs to vehicles.
- Obtain estimates and order car parts to resolve vehicle issues.
- Liaise with customers to update them on the status of their vehicle checks.
Qualifications
- Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
- Previous work experience in a franchise dealership.
- Highly skilled in fault diagnosis.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering first‑class customer service.
- Able to plan, organise yourself and meet agreed work deadlines.
