Upper KS2 Teacher & Phase Lead

An “Outstanding” Ofsted graded primary school in Brent is looking for an upper KS2 teacher who will also act as the phase leader for a September 2026 start. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a supportive senior leadership team and an engaging curriculum.

• Grade: MPS1 – UPS3

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess curriculum for Year 3/4 (Upper KS2)
• Lead the upper KS2 phase, including progress, attainment and pastoral support
• Encourage children in developing self‑esteem and respect for others
• Collaborate with colleagues, support students’ progress and well‑being
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the phase group

Person Specification

• UK QTS (essential)
• Experienced primary teacher with a proven record of classroom success
• Ambitious and ready for the next step in career
• Strong leadership abilities and confidence in team management
• Recent observations graded as good or outstanding
