Job Overview

The role is for an enthusiastic, passionate 11+ Tutor to join the Lower School at St Mary’s Independent School. The tutor will work part‑time on a permanent contract, providing tailored tutoring sessions to support girls’ academic growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised 11+ preparation lessons to girls aged 4‑16 years.
• Support students’ academic growth and foster confidence through tailored tutoring sessions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and participate in the life of the school.
• Adhere to safeguarding and child‑protection policies, including enhanced screening and safer recruitment requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passion, dedication and expertise in 11+ preparation.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced child‑protection screening.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Experience or interest in teaching girls in an independent day school setting.
