LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) based in Hams Hall, Birmingham.
Pay: £41,958 per annum. Permanent, Full‑time. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 04:00‑09:00 start times available.
Location: Trade team, Hams Hall, Birmingham – B46 1TT.

This high‑energy role sees you delivering alcoholic beverages to public house cellars and involves heavy manual handling of kegs and barrels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver alcoholic beverages to public houses, including heavy manual handling of kegs and barrels.
- Make 10‑17 deliveries (drops) to public houses each shift.
- Work with a driver’s mate as required.
- Shifts Monday to Friday; start times available between 04:00‑09:00.
- Work a minimum of 6 Saturdays per year.
- Drive safely and efficiently in compliance with Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive and the Highway Code.
- Maintain health and safety standards, including manual handling procedures.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
- Prior dray delivery experience is an advantage.
- Minimum of 6 months commercial LGV driving experience preferred.
- Willingness to work early morning starts and occasional Saturdays.
