The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join Knepp Wilding Kitchen, working with exceptional produce from our rewilding project, on‑site butchery and three‑acre market garden. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing, purpose‑led hospitality destination focused on sustainability, seasonality and quality.

About Knepp

Knepp is a 3,500‑acre rewilding estate near Horsham, pioneering nature‑led land management. Our kitchen celebrates award‑winning beef, venison and pork alongside seasonal vegetables grown on our 3 acre on‑site market garden.

We are an ingredient‑lead, Michelin listed, high‑paced restaurant which focusses on the very best sustainable produce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistently high‑quality dishes
  • Work positively within a small, motivated kitchen team
  • Assist with occasional events
  • Assist with stock control and waste reduction
  • Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and 5‑star EHO standards

Requirements

  • We are a rural site; the candidate must be able to get to site independently
  • At least 2 years’ experience at CDP level or above, in a high‑volume, high‑quality restaurant
  • Organised, enthusiastic and a clear communicator
  • Passionate about produce, sustainability and learning
  • Good work‑life balance, almost entirely daytime trade
