Overview

1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant – Location: Bromley, EnglandSchool type: Specialist alternative provision (SEMH/PRU).Salary: £90‑£110 per day, depending on experience.Hours: Full‑time, immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent individual support to a pupil aged 7‑11 throughout the school day.
• Facilitate engagement with learning, routine adherence, and positive behaviour.
• Implement behaviour strategies and support emotional regulation.
• Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil’s needs.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or SEMH.
• Experience working with primary‑aged pupils is desirable.
• Ability to build strong, consistent relationships with individual pupils.
• Confidence in supporting behaviour, learning, and emotional regulation.
• Full‑time availability and readiness to start immediately.
