Cover Supervisor – Teacher (Term Time)
Working Hours
30 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm. Required from September 2026.
Salary
Grade 4, £17,344 – £18,186 per annum (£13.26 – £13.90 per hour).
Overview
An inspirational Cover Supervisor to teach a variety of classes during periods of absence of the designated teacher. You will create and maintain a positive learning environment and ensure that students remain on task with the work set. You will add capacity to the team as the number of students increases.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of classes during cover periods.
- Maintain classroom management, ensuring students remain on task.
- Support the pastoral and inclusion team during non-cover periods.
- Undertake lunchtime supervision.
Qualifications
Seeking an individual who has a background in education, whether recent graduate or experienced teacher or educator from industry, and who aligns with the school’s values and desired impact.
