Class 1 Driver — Weekly Pay, Temp-to-Perm Path

Class 1 Driver – Guaranteed HGV Work EVERY Week – Eventually turning into a permanent role.

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Upwood, PE26. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position! Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent.

The Role:

• Making goods deliveries using a LGV curtain side vehicle
• Work is simple C&D work 4-5 drops per day.
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
• Starting around 06:00am daily – shifts between 10-12 hours

Requirements:

• Class 1 licence entitlement
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest

Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):

Monday to Friday shift pattern – 06:00-07:00 Start.

Shift Length – 10-12 hours.

Up to £17.50 per hour – (Monday to Friday).
