Job Title: HLTA. Location: Stoke‑on‑Trent. Start Date: Immediate. Salary: Paid to scale.
The school provides a nurturing and structured environment for students aged 11‑16 who require additional support with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
Responsibilities
Support students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering intervention sessions, supporting learning in the classroom, and helping to manage behaviours positively.
Qualifications
- HLTA qualification or relevant Level 4 qualification
- Experience working with secondary aged students with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
- Experience supporting students with challenging behaviours
- A patient, resilient and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
